About us

SIA Siluflora is a family-owned company from Latvia, specialising in the production of top quality horticultural substrates and professional peat substrates. For years, we have been supplying our products to demanding customers across Europe and beyond, combining experience with a modern approach to cultivation.

Our mission

Substrate strength, plant health

The foundation of any effective crop is an optimally selected substrate with precisely balanced physical, chemical and biological properties. This is what determines the proper development of the root system, efficient water management and availability of nutrients – factors that directly affect the health, resistance and yield of the plants.

At Siluflora, we combine advanced scientific knowledge with practical experience, working with leading laboratories and partners across Europe. We create substrates of the highest quality, which are precisely adapted to the specific local climatic and agronomic conditions. In this way, we support stable, sustainable plant growth – from greenhouse crops to vegetable and ornamental production.

Our strength is not just the substrate we offer – it is also our passion, reliability and attention to detail. We believe that the strength of the substrate is the key to the health of the plants, which, thanks to our products, have the best start and develop healthily at every stage of production, producing productive and high-quality crops.

Map of Europe

Our headquarters are located in the heart of the Baltic region – in an area rich in natural, ecologically clean peat deposits.

We use high peat, black peat and transitional peat, sourced exclusively from certified areas of proven environmental quality.

Sapling in the forest

With our land , everything has a good start.

Thanks to its convenient location – just 60 km from the largest seaport in Riga and directly on the main transport routes – our products can be efficiently exported all over the world, both packaged and in bulk.

Wherever our containers flow, nature flourishes. We supply fertile horticultural soil that feeds gardens, nurseries and green spaces on every continent

We create our substrates from precisely selected components: peats of different fractions, drainage sand and enrichment ingredients. The substrates contain essential macro-elements (N-P-K-Mg) and micro-elements (Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Mo), adapted to the needs of the specific crop. Everything is produced in a modern plant with fully automated processing lines, under constant quality control – also in our own laboratory.

We work with laboratories and partners in several European countries, creating formulations that are perfectly adapted to the specific characteristics of local markets and growing conditions. As a result, our substrates support stable, healthy and productive plant growth – from greenhouse crops to vegetable and ornamental production.

To facilitate cooperation with customers from Poland, we also operate a sales company, Siluflora Polska, registered in Poland. Our sales office handles orders, technical and logistical queries. Contact is possible both through the Polish branch and directly with the production site in Latvia – also in Polish.

We offer a wide range of delivery forms: from 20 L packs, through 250 L bags to 6 m³ big bales. For larger producers, it is possible to supply raw material in bulk – either by tipper trucks or in the “bulk” system (e.g. trailers with a sliding floor or pneumatic unloading), depending on the customer’s needs.

Behind the quality of our products is a team of experienced specialists – passionate people who understand the needs of modern horticulture and vegetable growing. With Siluflora you can count on a partnership approach, flexibility and products on which reliable production can be based.
